mara and philippe are two german guys who decided to get married in italy, a country that they love so much and where they lived for a while. and, during one of their inspections, they decided to treat themselves to a very romantic photo shoot, and mara pulled out this crazy vintage-inspired red dress. and then we entered the dream of this La La Land engagement photo shoot

I met Mara and Philippe precisely on the occasion of this photo shoot, after they had confirmed me as the photographer for their wedding (June 2024, you’ll see it very soon!): they were still choosing the right location for their day in the incredible setting of the Prosecco hills, not far from Venice.
And when I saw them ready to shoot, I had a sort of flash. Do you know the beautiful movie with Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling, La La Land? A musical comedy that took my breath away for the costumes, the romanticism of the story, the dream behind it.
Well, when I saw them dressed like that, smiling, hand in hand, I replayed that movie in my mind and thought that theirs was exactly a La La Land engagement photo shoot.
But not just for the clothes, but the emotion that was perceived between them had something magical and dreamy, almost unreal.
Mara and Philippe are an increasingly rare example of a couple where both take care of each other, where they use only sweet words and insert “please” and “thank you” in their conversations.
I hope that in my photos you can perceive this delicacy, this kindness, this vibrant dream between them, because that’s how I experienced them.
