Rachel and Chuck, crossing borders from the UK, envisioned a celebration of love that transcended the ordinary. Their choice was unequivocal—Aman Venice, the city’s only 7-star haven nestled along the enchanting Canal Grande. The stage was set for an intimate and exceptionally elegant affair in my favorite place in Venice.
The anticipation began within the luxurious confines of Aman’s best suite (George Clooney’s one!). As Rachel adorned herself in a non-conventional and sparkling bride dress, Chuck, in a nod to tradition, readied himself in his parents’ room. It was a thoughtful touch, ensuring that the magic of their first moments together unfolded during the first look.

The first look of this amazing destination wedding at Aman Venice, a moment of pure enchantment, took place on the staircase adorned with original Venetian frescoes—an area within Aman that compounds art and romance. Against this backdrop, Rachel and Chuck shared an intimate glance, a prelude to the couples service that awaited them, just the two of them.
The celebration continued with a water taxi excursion, navigating the iconic canals in front of St. Mark and under the Bridge of Sighs. As the photographer, I had the privilege of capturing the couple against these breathtaking backdrops, creating timeless shots that would remember forever the essence of their destination wedding at Aman canal Grande Venice. And I have to say, it should be the perfect example for a Venice wedding and elopement guide.
Returning to Aman -after a toast and brief make-up touch-up- for the ceremony on the fourth floor, the setting exuded a blend of sobriety and elegance, adorned with green and white flowers. Against this backdrop, Rachel and Chuck exchanged their vows in a symbolic ceremony . Following this moment, the celebration flowed downstairs for aperitifs, where prosecco and Italian wines were savored in the garden overlooking the Canal Grande. The exclusivity and elegance of this setting lent an air of sophistication to the joyous occasion.
As daylight faded, the romantic tableau continued on the fourth floor for dinner in the intimate fireplace hall. In this small yet enchanting space, adorned with candles and white flowers, the couple and their guests were enveloped in the typical Venetian magic—a mysterious atmosphere that echoed the allure of the city. Always facing the Canal Grande, the dinner was a crescendo of love, elegance, and the undeniable charm that encapsulates a destination wedding in Aman Venice. The day concluded, with a simple cake cutting and a joyful toast with all the guests of this destination wedding at Aman Venice.
How did this destination wedding at Aman Venice end? An amazing and very elegant band to entertain the guests, incredible cocktails mixed by talented barmen, party, dancing, music and lots of toasts. I feel really lucky to have been part of this wonderful day of celebration and love. Thank you Rachel and Chuck for choosing me! I hope to be an Aman Venice wedding photographer again.
