Shooting in Venice

You always think that a sunny day is the best choice for a shooting in Venice. Instead, I can assure you that this is often not the case.

Venice is a romantic and mysterious city, and I find that the delicacy of the fog succeeds in enhancing its characteristics, don’t you think? That’s why, when I woke up that morning to go photograph Lin and Tay I was happy: because the fog makes the light soft, delicate, and in a city like Venice it creates a beautiful atmosphere.

Also, it was not the right time to go and shoot in San Marco (work in progress and carnival) so we chose an alternative tour among the calli and canals of Dorsoduro, one of the most beautiful areas of Venice! And that’s how the magic happened: no tourists, no Venetians, for a shoot I really loved! Here is this beautiful intimate shooting in Venice.
