It was January when we decided to do this photo shoot in Paris.
The temperature was not too cold and a warm sun was warming the city streets. Quite a blessing considering the season! I was waiting for Alena and Ben on the “De la Tournelle” bridge and meanwhile admiring Notre Dame, its side destroyed by fire. Then two boys came toward me, and I realized it was them! We introduced ourselves and they told me a little bit of their story. Alena is Russian, and she came to Paris to study, while Ben is originally from Normandy, a French region. They met in the café where she used to go after college. He worked there. Like the best romantic stories.

This photo shoot in Paris started there, on the bridge where we met and then continued inside the island of St Louis, one of the most romantic places in Paris. Little known to tourists and even less frequented, it turns out to be very typical and not very chaotic, perfect for a quiet and romantic shoot. And of course we took some pictures with Notre Dame behind us!
At the end we sat down for a hot chocolate in one of the typical Parisian cafes, the chairs on the street to admire the beauty of the city. On the way back, we also took a few shots with Ben’s Mini, which he also rents for photo shoots and weddings!
